Collezione: PL38 pattern

The PL38 ceiling panel draws on classic European palace ornament, blending 17th–18th century Baroque / Rococo with 19th-century Victorian interior details. At the center sits a refined roundel, framed by concentric mouldings reminiscent of the ceiling medallions found in royal halls. Four directional acanthus scrolls and palmette motifs radiate outward in a cross-shaped arrangement, echoing the richly carved ceilings and mantelpieces of the Louis XIV–Louis XV period. Behind the center lies a delicate lattice ground, a texture often seen on Victorian pressed-metal ceilings that creates a lively play of light and shadow. The outer square frame is defined by clean stepped mouldings, while the midpoints of each side feature a cartouche with an oval cabochon, reinforcing the panel’s stately, courtly character.

Key features and advantages of PL38 include a clear focal point for chandeliers or ceiling fixtures provided by the central roundel; a strong contrast between flowing acanthus scrolls and the textured lattice background, giving the relief exceptional depth; and a perfectly symmetrical cross layout within a square frame, allowing multiple panels to connect seamlessly into a continuous decorative sequence and bringing a luxurious yet controlled classical atmosphere to any interior.
